Thermometer is pretty accurate. White part is a silicone cover for the seams to the probe. Shipping was about a week.

Works extremely well. Responsive and easy enough to read. (If you wear glasses chances are the print will be small for you). You don’ realize but it’s super helpful for a small home machine like Gaggia Classic Pro: It can be hard to know how fast the milk will be at optimum temp since 100ml heats fast but 200+ might heat slowly. With the thermometer you to just focus on texture vs. burning the milk, and this makes it much easier to get perfect steamed milk each time!
